As a Communications Officer at Iconic Care, I organise and facilitate effective internal and external communication initiatives, ensuring that the organisation’s values, goals, and achievements are communicated clearly and consistently across diverse platforms. I collaborate with stakeholders to create and disseminate compelling content, leveraging audience insights to ensure resonance and engagement.

I have also developed and implemented a robust crisis communication plan and protocols to address emergencies or critical incidents affecting service users or staff, establishing clear communication channels, coordinating with health professionals, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. Additionally, I have initiated and led advocacy campaigns and awareness-raising initiatives to promote resident rights, dignity, and person-centred care principles, creating awareness about issues such as abuse prevention, resident empowerment, and social inclusion.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Master of Arts degree in African & Diaspora Studies from the University of Lagos, and in International Politics from the University of Hull. I have a keen interest in global issues, social justice, and human rights, and I apply my knowledge and skills to support transformative initiatives through effective communication strategies and leadership. I am skilled in crisis communications, brand management, staff relations, and digital marketing, and I am always eager to learn and grow as a communications professional.
